Electronic Arts has announced that it will update the SimCity game today, April 22nd, fixing a handful of bugs and that users could expect some server issues while update rolls out.
According to the press release from Electronic Arts, due to the update, servers will be down for "a few hours". Server downtime and problems were quite frustrating back when the game was launched and despite that, the new update still will not bring an offline mode to the game.
The update actually fixes a total of 26 bugs like fluctuation of tourists, phantom audio, new region filters, education fixes, fire truck issues, fixed issue with air pollution and much more. It also brings new Mayors mansion, new HUD with color-correct, and updated data map.
On a similar note, EA announced that the Mac OS X version of the game is still scheduled for June launch.
