ADATA launches XPG Gaming v2.0 DDR3-2600 memory modules

Dual-channel kits

ADATA Technology announced the launch of the new XPG Gaming v2.0 series DDR3-2600 DRAM 8GB modules that will be available as a single module or as a 16GB dual-channel kit.

As you could have guessed from the name, the new modules will be working at speeds of up to 2600MHz and CL 11-13-13-35 latencies at 1.65V. As noted earlier, we expect them to be available as a single 8GB module or a 16GB dual-channel kit. The new ADATA XPG Gaming v2.0 is designed for 3rd generation Intel core CPUs and the Z77 platform and brings support for XMP v1.0 profiles, uses thermal conductive technology and 2oz copper 8-layer PCB.

The new XPG Gaming v2.0 modules are cooled by quite recognizable ADATA heatspreaders with a screw-lock mechanism ensuring efficient cooling and long-term use. The new modules are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Unfortunately, ADATA did not shed any details regarding the price or the actual availability date.
