Asus launches GTX 670 DirectCU Mini graphics card

Perfect for mini ITX SFF system

Asus has now officially launched its new GTX 670 DirectCU Mini graphics card designed for those that want a decent amount of GPU power in their small form factor PC system.

Measuring at just 17cm long, the Asus GTX 670 DirectCU Mini is definitely the most powerful short graphics card on the market and certainly looks good when paired up with Asus' P8Z77-I Deluxe. Spec wise, the new Asus GTX 670 DirectCU Mini works at 928MHz base and 1006MHz Boost GPU clocks and features 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface.

Despite its shorter PCB and smaller size, Asus managed to keep the new graphics card well cooled with its DirectCU cooler. According to Asus, the new GTX 670 DirectCU Mini is around 20 percent (or 7.5?C) cooler when compared to the reference GTX 670, all thanks to vapor chamber core and a new CoolTech fan.

The new Asus GTX 670 DirectCU Mini has a dual-slot design, needs a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector and features DVI-I, DVI-D, DisplayPort and HDMI outputs.

Unfortunately, Asus did not announce the price or the availability date but we will surely keep an eye out for this one.
