If you want open a podcast, stream or a Youtube channel you will need for sure a microphone or even a webcam. Logitech wants to be sure that users can find everything they need in Logitech's portfolio. The company has acquired Blue Microphone for $117 million in cash.
Blue Microphone is well known for their microphone easy to set up and able to offer better sound quality than most of the entry-level competition. For example the Blue Yeti is a well known high-end microphone and it's rather common to see on Twitch or Youtube. Blue claims to sell the most popular mic used by streamers and Logitech sells the most popular webcam as well. Now, users can buy the gear from only one company. Logitech CEO Bracken Darrell said in a blog post that:
