With the B450M-DS3H, Gigabyte adds a motherboard based on the mid-range chipset of AMD. Since this model belong to the Ultra Durable series, you will find nice heat sinks as well as good features. Compared to the previous generation, Gigabyte didn't change much.

The B450M-DS3H is based on an micro-ATX form factor and it comes with a black PCB with dark accents. Checking the layout, we spot two full-size PCIe slots but only one of them has been wired with sixteen lanes. In addition there is one PCIe x1 slots. Storage wise we find four SATA ports and -sadly- they are all straight. In this way the cable management might be a bit tricky. Last but not least there is a M.2 slot.

In general the layout is quite simple and therefore it has also been equipped with several USB ports. On the back panel we find four USB 3.1 ports paired with four USB 2.0 ports. Furthermore there are video connectors like a single HDMI and one DVI-D ports.
