AMD has announced that its latest Ryzen Pro with Radeon Graphics processors are now available for the world's largest OEMs like Dell, HP and Lenovo. The Ryzen Pro series will be available with Dell Latitude and Optiplex series, HP Elite and Pro systems, and Lenovo Think ranges. With Ryzen Pro we will see a wide range of business PC form factors, from thin enterprise laptops to powerful desktops.
AMD is filling the gaps in its business-friendly desktop and laptop, with its first Ryzen Pro APUs. All the SKUs are powered by the same Raven Ridge silicon we know from Ryzen Mobile and Ryzen G-series processors. Seven Raven Ridge Ryzen Pro parts are launching today. While for the notebooks AMD adds three models (Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U, Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 3 2300U), there are four more SKUs for desktop systems (Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G, Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE, Ryzen 3 Pro 2200G and Ryzen 3 2200GE).
Since this CPUs will go inside enterprise solutions, the security is a hot topic. On this side, AMD touts its GuardMI technology with "power-on-to-power-off protection". In this way, every AMD Ryzen Pro CPU implements: secure boot, transparent memory encryption, trusted applications enablement, and the secure production environment.
