AMD's next generation mainstream Navi GPU might hit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and AMD RX Vega 64 class performance and replace the company's current RX 580. AMD is going to release this card during next year with a price around 250 Dollar.

AMD Navi is Radeon's last GCN based architecture and it's expected to be the first high-end GPU built on 7nm process technology. According to latest rumors, AMD should introduce two Navi models, one designed for the desktop market and another that will aim the mobile one. Following a report from Fudzilla, Navi 10 will not belong anymore to the high-end part.

The report states that the Navi 10 will be a high performance card but it will replace the current RX 580. In addition, Fudzilla claims that the upcoming Navi desktop card will come with a rather solid price around 250 Dollar. This theory makes a lot of sense, since it's not so easy produce a large GPU chip on a new cutting edge process like the upcoming 7nm, at least not so fast.

Furthermore it makes sense also on a profitability point of view, since usually the mainstream and mid-range market outsell the high-end one. At the moment there isn't any additional information, but if AMD is going to introduce another graphics card we hope to see it on the e-tailers before miners will put hands on them.
