AMD releases RSCRE 17.11.2 drivers

Support for Star Wars: Battlefront II

It seems like we are spending more time updating drivers than playing new games lately. During the past month we have received four new AMD drivers and it's more or less the same with NVIDIA. AMD has just released its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.11.2 graphics driver software. This version should offer better support for Star Wars: Battlefront II.
The latest version of the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.11.2 drivers, fixes a few issues that were present before and apart from that new games are supported as well. In the case of the issues a bug has been fixed that was related to Radeon Software crash. Furthermore AMD has solved the Radeon WattMan issue. Performance wise, the optimisation in Star Wars: Battlefront II can be up consistent in some scenarios.

  • Radeon ReLive recorded clips may experience green corruption or green screen backgrounds
  • Radeon ReLive may fail to record when switching a game between Fullscreen and Borderless Fullscreen
  • Radeon Settings may experience a crash or hang when enabling/disabling AMD CrossFire mode on some select Radeon HD 7000 series graphics products
  • Radeon WattMan user interface may not reflect overclocked or underclocked values for GPU memory
  • Radeon WattMan may not apply correct reduced voltage values for some Radeon RX 400 and Radeon RX 500 series graphics products
  • Secondary extended displays may experience green corruption when resuming from display off or sleep modes
