ADATA launches XPG SX7000 PCIe NVMe SSD

With up to 1TB capacity

NVMe capable SSDs are growing increasingly popular these days, offering much higher transfer speeds than the usual SATA drive. New markets always offer new opportunities and that on the other hand means that different vendors will launch new products. ADATA is one of those having presented their new SX7000 NVMe SSD.

The new SX7000 NVMe SSD is going to be available with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacity. The units use 3D NAND flash memory, which offers better performance and higher endurance compared to traditional 2D/Planar NAND flash memory. Like most NVMe SSDs out today, the SX7000 NVMe SSD makes use of the M.2 2280 form factor and a PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 interface. Talking about performance, sequentially reading these drives should hit up to 1'800MB/s and 850MB/s in the case of sequential writes.

All the drives are backed by 5 years of warranty. So far ADATA has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their SX7000 SSD series.
