The last iteration of the ultra-thin XPS notebook from Dell has been released about a year ago, while there has been a refresh on a yearly basis. According to the latest rumors, the new Dell XPS 9650 will feature a Kaby Lake CPU and an optional Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU.
The Dell XPS 9650 is a 15-inch ultrabook which is available with an UHD panel (3840x2160) and narrow bezel design. Thanks to the almost borderless display and the slim profile, this makes it ultra portable despite it is a 15-inch model. According to the first rumors, the new models are most likely going to feature a Kaby Lake CPU like for instance the Intel Core i3-HQ, i5-HQ and i7-HQ.
In addition, there might be a version with a mobile GPU, which you will find inside the XPS. Dell might be adding a GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB VRAM. At there is no confirmed information on the GPU. Furthermore we don't know whether Dell would be using a GTX 1050 or a 1050 Ti.
When it comes to pricing there is no information available yet as well. Nevertheless it can be expected that at latest during CES 2017 this missing bit will become known as well and we believe pricing will be in-line with the existing products.
