The new 800W SFX-L power supply from Silverstone is a small units based on a fully modular design. As the name suggests, it comes with SFX-L form factor which means it is a little bit bigger than standard SFX yet still smaller than ATX.


The Silverstone SFX-L 800W comes with a single +12V rail and is based on DC-DC topology. Apart from that the unit complies with 80Plus Titanium efficiency, which makes this one of the first power supplies in the consumer segment to feature this level of efficiency while coming in an SFX-L package.

Apparently the Silverstone SFX-L 800W has also been equipped with the usual protections, like over/under voltage, over/under current and short circuit protection. Cooling is taken care of by a temperature controlled 120mm fan, which in combination with the high efficiency should make for a very silent combination.

Checking prices there are unfortunately no details out yet. Nevertheless we’re pretty confident it won’t take long anymore until this units gets listed on price comparison portals like Geizhals.
