Swiftech has officially released the new Komodo RX480 water block meant to be used with reference Radeon RX 480 graphics cards and coming with a new RGB LED lighting system.

The new Swiftech Komodo RX480 water block is based on a full-cover design, which means it cools both the GPU as well as the memory and the VRM part of the graphics card. It also uses advanced thermal design and low flow restriction and comes with an optional aluminum backplate.

The biggest update is the new RGB LED lighting system that fits into existing mounting holes on the side of the Komodo RX480 water block and which can be connected to an optional LS80 Lightstrip and controlled via Iris-ECO Light controller.

Unfortunately, Swiftech did not reveal any details regarding the price of the new Komodo RX480 water block but according to a couple of listings it should be available soon with a price set at US $99.95.
