New Metro game confirmed by Deep Silver

Might end up as Metro 2035

Deep Silver has confirmed that it is working on a new Metro game but the game won't be coming next year.

The official confirmation comes from the official Metro Facebook page, which will be the name of the new Metro sequel and although some earlier report suggested that the game could come sometime next year, it appears that won't happen, at least according to Deep Silver's official statement.

Deep Silver has confirmed that it has "ambitious plans" for Metro series as the exclusive rights holder to the series but that the game is not in their 2017 schedule.

4A Games, the developer behind the Metro series has earlier confirmed to be working on two titles, one of which is the VR-exclusive game Arktika.1 and the second one could be the Metro 2035, but unfortunately, it won't be coming next year.

Hopefully, Deep Silver will soon release more details regarding the new Metro game.
