Samsung unveils three new Quantum Dot monitors

CFG70 in two versions and CF791

Although IFA 2016 show kicks off in a few days, there are already pre-IFA announcements, including two new Quantum Dot gaming monitors from Samsung, one of which will be available in two sizes, the CFG70 and the CF791.

We already wrote a bit about the premium 34-inch CF791, which will be based on a high-quality 34-inch 1500R curved VA panel with 3440x1440 resolution and offer support for AMD FreeSync with maximum refresh rate of 100Hz.

Today, and in addition to the 34-inch CF791, we have a bit more information regarding the CFG70, which will be available in 24- and 27-inch sizes.

It is important to note that both new monitors will be able to show 125 percent sRGB spectrum and undergo special output tests which will ensure best possible black gamma levels and white balance levels.

As noted, the CFG70 will be available in 24- and 27-inch sizes, both with 1800R curved VR panel with 1920x1080 resolution, 1ms response time, support for AMD FreeSync with maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and Samsung's HAS stand with tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments.

The Samsung CFG70 will also feature Samsung's Gaming UX OSD interface as well as single DisplayPort, and two HDMI inputs.

The price for the 34-inch CF791 is set at US $999 while the 24-inch CFG70 should cost US $399 and 27-inch should hit retail at US $499. Both are expected to be showcased at IFA 2016 show next week and hopefully hit retail next month.
