Kicking off early for Gamescom 2016, which will start on August 17th in Cologne, Germany, EA has unveiled an official date for Battlefield 1 Open Beta as well as released a new gameplay video.

According to EA, the Open Beta phase for Battlefield 1 will star on August 31st on Playstation 4, XBox One and, of course, the PC. EA also noted that those subscribed to Battlefield Insider program will get early access to the open beta if they apply before August 21st.

The Open Beta phase will include a single map, Sinai desert, and both Conquest Mode with up to 64 players and Rush Mode with up to 24 players.

EA has also released a new gameplay video showing that same Sinai desert map and how will it actually feel to play it during Open Beta phase.
