Following the recent issue with factory-overclocked GTX 1080/1070 graphics cards where review samples were clocked higher than those on retail shelves, EVGA was quite keen to issue a statement saying that with their factory-overclocked graphics cards "what you see is what you get".

The recent issue where some Nvidia AIB partners, namely ASUS and MSI, have been caught with higher clocked and tweaked review samples, which made some customers quite unhappy, has made EVGA quite happy.

The company was quite keen to note that while being one of the first Nvidia AIB partners to offer factory-overclocked graphics cards, their SuperClocked, FTW and Classified versions on the retail/e-tail shelves are exactly the same as those sent to reviewers.

EVGA noted that the company does not "fake" reviews or send out products with tweaked clockspeeds and with its cards "what you see is what you get".

While the issue is not that big, since users can enabled higher clocks via software, it still gave EVGA and other partners some bragging rights.
