Thecus has unveiled the new version of its N2810 2-bay NAS, which will come with the new Celeron N3160 quad-core processors and 4GB of RAM.
Providing a bit more performance compared to the original N2810, the Thecus N2810 Pro comes with a quad-core Celeron N3160 CPU, clocked at 1.6GHz base and 2.08GHz Turbo, as well as 4GB of DDR3 RAM, upgradable to 8GB.
The rest of the specifications should be the same as on the original N2810 NAS, as it features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, support for two internal SATA drives and Thecus' new ThecusOS 7.0.
The new CPU should provide much higher performance compared to the Intel Celeron N3050 on the original N2810 NAS while keeping the same power consumption.
The new Thecus NAS N2810 Pro should be available globally on June 30th. Unfortunately, Thecus did not reveal any details regarding the price.
