Nvidia GP102 Titan X successor spotted

50 percent faster than GTX 1080

Nvidia's upcoming GP102-400 GPU, which should be powering the next GTX Titan and hopefully the GTX 1080 Ti graphics card has been spotted and could end up to be up to 50 percent faster than GTX 1080.

According to rumors coming from Wccftech.com, the GP102 GPU could also end up with a GDDR5X memory as it is highly unlikely that Nvidia will manage to get HBM2 without breaking the earlier US $999 price tag. It is also possible that Nvidia might introduce 8GB and 16GB versions.

The GP102-400 GPU could bring significant performance improvements compared to the currently available GTX 1080, offering up to 50 percent higher performance. With more performance and higher amount of memory, this could be the perfect 4K 60FPS gaming graphics card as well as a VR gaming beast.

Hopefully we will hear more about the GP102 GPU and the Titan X successor soon.
