ASUS shows 3D printed motherboard parts at Computex

Goes well with ROG series

ASUS had quite an interesting showcase at Computex 2016 where it showed its support for the modding community with 3D printed parts which add both a new look to the motherboard but also add some features as well.

While it only showcased a couple of 3D printed plates and badges for some of its motherboards as well as a 3D printed fan holder, the actual usage is practically unlimited as you will be able to 3D print anything that could be fitted on a motherboard.

ASUS has promised that it will create a dedicated 3D printing forum and provide 3D source files for those parts showcased at Computex 2016 so it will be quite interesting to see what people will come up with once this becomes mainstream.
