Galax ventures into memory market with DDR4

Shows Hall of Fame DDR4-4000 modules

Galax came to the Computex 2016 show in force, showing quite a few products including its new enthusiast-grade DDR4-4000 Hall of Fame memory.

In addition to the Gamer series DDR4 memory that will feature LEDs and be available in variety of kits, capacities and frequencies ranging from 2133MHz to 3000MHz, Galax also showed its new Hall of Fame high-end DDR4 memory with all-white PCB and white heaspreaders with pulsing white LEDs.

Aimed at those that want to pair up their fancy all-white motherboard, all-white Galax HOF graphics card with HOF-branded memory, the new Galax HOF DDR4 will be available in 4GB and 8GB modules and 8GB and 16GB dual-channel kits. It works at 4000MHz and has CL19-25-25-45 latency at 1.4V.

Unfortunately, Galax did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for its memory lineup but hopefully we will hear more about them soon.
