Powercolor has unveiled its ow external graphics card solution called the Devil Box.
The Powercolor Devil Box is based on AMD's XConnect Technology and uses Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps interface to connect the external box to your system. It support PCI-Express x16 graphics cards with maximum TDP of 375W and 310x140x50mm dimensions.
According to the published list, it can power R9 Fury, R9 Nano and any R9 300 series graphics card as well as Nvidia's GTX Titan X, GTX 980 Ti and any other Geforce 900 series graphics card. Unfortunately, the new GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 are not on the list.
The rest of the features include Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C ports as well as SATA 6Gbps port that allows users to add a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD to the system.
According to Powercolor, the new Devil Box will allow users with mini-PC or thin and light notebook to enjoy some serious graphics power.
Unfortunately, Powercolor did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
