Corsair has unveiled its newest Dominator Platinum ROG Edition DDR4 memory kit which has been developed together with ASUS and designed to match ASUS' Republic of Gamers (ROG) motherboards with its ROG color scheme.

To be available only as a 16GB (4x4GB) kit, the new Dominator Platinum ROG Edition has a red aluminum top bard which should perfectly match most ASUS ROG motherboards and comes with a black PCB and black heatspreader.

The kit works at DDR4-3200 with 16-18-18-36 latency but can be raised up to 3,333MHz when paired up with ASUS ROG motherboard, due to the special XMP 2.0 profile.

The new Dominator Platinum ROG Edition kit supports plenty of ASUS Z170 Express chipset motherboards, including Z170 ROG Maximus VIII Formula, Z170 Maximus VIII Hero, Z170 ROG Maximus VIII Extreme/Assembly, Z170 ROG Maximus VIII Hero Alpha, Z170 Maximus VIII Impact, Z170 Maximus VIII Extreme, Z170 Maximus VIII Ranger and the Z170 Maximus VIII Gene.

According to Corsair, the new 16GB Dominator Platinum DDR4-3200 kit will be available soon directly from Corsair's website or its retail/e-tail partners with an MSRP of US $189.99.
