G.Skill has announced a new 16GB (2x8GB) kit that will be a part of its Trident Z lineup and be available in 3200MHz, 3466MHz and 4266MHz frequencies.
All of the new Trident Z additions will be based on high-performance Samsung DDR4 8Gb ICs. As note, there will be a couple of different versions, including 3200MHz and 3466MHz versions with tight CL 13-13-13-30 and CL 14-14-14-34 latencies that will both work at 1.35V and be available in 8GBx2, 8GBx4, 16GBx2 and 16GBx4 configurations.
The flagship offer is the 4266MHz kit that will only be available in 8GBx2 configuration and with CL 19-23-23-43 latency at 1.35V.
All kits should be available as of June and are tested on Intel's 6th gen Core CPUs and Z170 chipset platforms with the latest XMP 2.0 profile. G.Skill even validated the 4266MHz kit on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Impact motherboard while other two were validated on the ASUS Z170-Deluxe motherboard.
Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding the price.
