Zotac unveils two new Zbox HDMI PC sticks

Powered by Intel Atom X5-Z8300 CPU

Zotac has expanded its mini-PC ZBox lineup with two new HDMI PC sticks which will be a part of the new Zbox PI-series, the Zbox PI221 and the Zbox PI220.

Both powered by Intel's Atom X5-Z8300 Cherry Trail quad-core CPU, running at 1440MHz, the ne Zbox PI-series HDMI sticks will feature 2GB of DDR3L RAM, 32GB of flash storage and run on Windows 10 Home OS. They both draw power from a single USB port, feature 10/100 Ethernet, integrated 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.

The difference between the Zbox PI221 and the PI220 is pretty much aesthetic and somewhat functional, as the Zbox PI221 is thicker at 17mm, but also quieter since it does not feature an active cooling. The Zbox PI220 on the other hand is just 15.8mm thick but comes with a small fan.

Unfortunately, Zotac did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date so far.
