Nvidia GTX 1080 overclocking performance unveiled

Hits 2114MHz

In addition to the first reference clocks 3DMark performance results, Nvidia GTX 1080 overclocked performance was leaked today as well, showing it hitting 2114MHz.

Only tested in 3DMark FireStrike Performance, Extreme and Ultra presets, the results shows that the Pascal-based GTX 1080 is quite an overclocker, hitting 2114MHz, which is around 381MHz higher than reference 1733MHz.

With the GPU overclock, the GTX 1080 was around 24 percent faster than stock GTX 1080 which pushed the difference between GTX 1080 and GTX Titan X from 21 percent up to 45 percent.

This leak confirms earlier reports that the GTX 1080 has impressive overclocking potential and suggests that we will see some impressive custom factory-overclocked version from Nvidia AiB partners at Computex 2016.

Official reviews of the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 should be live on May 17th and it will be interesting to see on how far did review sites manage to overclock this graphics card beast.
