Following the recent unveil of Nvidia's Pascal-based GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, it was just a matter of time before we see those same graphics cards from various Nvidia partners and Zotac, EVGA, Gigabyte, Galax and Inno3D are just some of the first AIC partners to announce such reference cards.
Nvidia is playing a slightly different game with its new Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards by pricing the reference design, now known as Founders Edition, at US $100 more over the suggested retail price (MSRP).
As detailed earlier,
the GTX 1080/1070 Founders Edition graphics cards will not have any special binned chips or higher factory-overclock but will come with Nvidia's own reference cooling solution.
Zotac, EVGA, Gigabyte, Galax and Inno3D are just some of the partners that have decided to sell those reference GTX 1080 Founders Edition graphics cards and there will be some bundles included, depending on the partner.
The Founders Edition graphics cards should be available for sale on May 27th, with a price starting at US $699, while the suggested price is set at US $599.
