The Division can't be fixed on the PC

Needs a complete code rewrite

It appears that The Division simply can't be fixed, at least according to a developer that has been behind some rather big names in the gaming industry.

According to Glenn Fiedler, an FPS developer that has worked with Respawn, Sony and Pandemic, The Division game is rather messed up and Ubisoft will most likely have to completely rewrite netcode in order to fix the game.

While Ubisoft did not officially release any statements and is still trying to fix some hacks and glitches in the game, Glenn notes that a client-side cheat program that gives players infinite health, infinite ammo or teleporting players, can't be fixed that easily.

Apparently, such things are much easier to fix on consoles but not on the PC, at least not without a complete code rewrite.

If this proves to be true, it appears that The Division will be broken for a bit longer.
