Blizzard has announced that the latest World of Warcraft expansion, called Legion, will be rolling out on August 30th, bringing plenty of improvements including new area, new class, new PVP system, and more.
As announced back in August last year, Blizzard's latest Legion expansion for World of Warcraft, will increase the level cap to 110, as well as introduce the new area called The Broken Isles. The expansion will also introduce a new class, the Demon Hunter, which can double up as both a tank or a melee fighter and has an ability to jump and glide from higher places.
The PvP combat will get a new Honor system which allows you to gain Honor Points and raise your Honor Level and get gold, artifact power and more. The new PvP system will also provide a more fair combat experience as it will disable any special effects on the gear, forcing players to rely more on character skills.
The basic version of the Legion expansion will cost US $49.99 and if you pre-order it, it will boost you to level 100 and gives you an early access to the new Demon Hunter class. There will also be a Deluxe Edition, priced at US $69.99, which includes some in-game bonuses like Illidari Felstalker mount and pet for World of Warcraft and more.
Hardcore fans of WoW should be happy with the Collector's Edition which includes all the goodies from the Deluxe version but also come with a hardcover art book, a two-disc Blu-ray/DVD set showcasing behind-the-scenes content, the game’s soundtrack on CD, and a Legion-themed mouse pad, all for a cool US $89.99.
