Gigabyte has unveiled four new BRIX mini-PC systems that will be based on new Skylake CPUs as well as feature Thunderbolt 3 port.
Gigabyte has added four new models to its BRIX mini-PC lineup, the GB-BSi5T-6200, GB-BSi5HT-6200, GB-BSi7T-6500 and GB-BSi7HT-6500. All four new models will be equipped with Skylake CPU, either the Core i5-6200U processor or the Core i7-6500U CPU.
Both of these CPUs are dual-core versions with enabled Hyper-Threading and come with Intel HD Graphics 520 IGP.
Basically, there will be two different models, one with a 46.8mm tall and one with a 34.4mm tall chassis. The 46.8mm tall HT-series, will also offer support for a 2.5-inch 9.5mm-thick HDD.
In addition to the new CPU, both models also get a Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps port, with USB 3.1 Type-C port and DisplayPort 1.2 output. The Thunderbolt 3 over USB Type-C allows users to daisy-chain up to six devices and also provides multiple display support.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date but all four are now listed on Gigabyte's site.
