ASUS has officially launched its newest Republic of Gamers Spatha MMO wireless gaming mouse, which comes with no less than 12 buttons, Omron switches and multi-zone RGB lighting.
Since it is aimed at MMO gamers, the new ROG Spatha gaming mouse from ASUS comes with a total of 12 fully-programmable button, six of which are located under the thumb. The rest of the buttons include left and right main buttons, a scroll-wheel button, back and forward button and a dedicated sniper button for additional precision.
Specification wise, the ASUS ROG Spatha features 8200 DPI laser sensor which offers 2000Hz polling rate in wired and 1000Hz in wireless mode. It also has a tracking acceleration of 30G. The buttons use high-quality Omron switches and two main are replaceable, with additional Omron D2F-01F switches included in the bundle.
The precise dimensions of the ROG Spatha are set at 137x89x45 mm and it weighs 175g without a cable. The ROG Spatha also comes with independently customizable RGB LED effects on the scroll wheel, side buttons, and ROG logo with six different presets, Static, Breathing, Color Cycling, Trigger, Random, and Battery mode.
Of course, it also comes with built-in memory that can store up to five different profiles and ROG Armory can be used to customize the entire mouse.
Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
