Logitech has expanded its its Orion line of mechanical gaming keyboards with the new Orion G610 series which will be available in two versions, the Orion G610 Brown and the Orion G610 Red.
After releasing the G410, G810 and the G910 models in the Orion lineup, Logitech has now launched the new Orion G610 lineup that will use Cherry MX mechanical switches rather than Logitech's in-house made Romer-G switches used on earlier keyboards.
To be available with Cherry MX Red and Cherry MX Brown switches, the Orion G610 is pretty much identical to the earlier announced G810 Orion Spectrum, in terms of design. It is based on a standard full 104-key layout.
It also comes with standard white LED backlight instead of the RGB, and allows users to configure brightness, per-key lighting and various modes of backlight.
It also comes with dedicated media buttons as well as a roller volume control. The F-keys can be used to set custom macro keys.
According to Logitech, the new Orion G610 mechanical keyboard should be available for pre-order with US $120 price set for both the Brown and the Red version.
