Nvidia releases new Geforce 364.47 WHQL drivers

Game Ready drivers with install problems

Nvidia has released its newest Game Ready Geforce 364.47 WHQL drivers which should bring all game optimizations and performance improvements for Tom Clancy's The Division as well as some other new and upcoming games. Unfortunately, it appears that drivers have some install problems.

In case you want to play Tom Clancy's The Division game which officially launches today you might want to download Nvidia's new Geforce Game Ready 364.47 WHQL drivers.

According to the release notes, in addition to the The Division, the new Geforce 364.47 WHQL drivers also bring all optimizations for Need for Speed game, the upcoming Hitman game, some performance boost for Rise of the Tomb Raider and the Ashes of the Singularity. The new drivers also adds Vulkan API support for The Talos Principle.

Unfortunately, it appears that the new drivers also bring some issues as user on Geforce Forum are reporting issues with the installation, experiencing a crash during installation which results in a black screen and problems with booting back into Windows.

The issue can be apparently solved by booting back into safe mode in order to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them back or simply removing the old drivers in safe mode and safely installing the new drivers. This is big hit for those looking to play The Division today but thankfully the fix is quite easy.

As always, you can find the new drivers at Nvidia's drivers support page via link below.
