Today, we will check out yet another mod project from our forums, the Project Skadi, made by sdb and based on CaseLabs Mercury S8 Gunmetal case and EVGA's Z170 FTW motherboard.

As noted, the Project Skadi is based on a rather interesting CaseLabs Mercury S8 Gunmetal case and it is well under way since sdbmod already finished some important parts of the mod, including painting the inner parts of the case, modifying the perforated metal that will be used in the case, and assembling the custom liquid cooling system based on Black Ice GT radiators, EK Water Block CPU, GPU and RAM blocks, Swiftech pump and Bitspower reservoir, fittings and pump cover.

In addition to the CaseLabs Mercury S8 case, sdbmod wil also use EVGA's Z170 FTW motherboard, two EVGA GTX 780 SC graphics cards, G.Skill Ripjaws 4 16GB RAM, two Samsung 850 Pro SATA SSDs and Samsung's 950 Pro M.2 SSD, Seasonic Platinum 1000W XP2 PSU and Scythe GentleTyphoon AP-15 fans.

As far as you can see in the build log at our forums, the project is going well and sdbmod already promised a lot of new pictures during weekend so we are certainly looking forward to see those as well. Hopefully, the Skadi will be over soon and we will have a chance to check out yet another impressive mod.
