Codemasters working on DX12 patch for F1 2015

Plenty of fans eagerly awaiting it

Codemasters will be adding DirectX 12 support for F1 2015 game at some point in time, which is a welcomed news for plenty of Formula 1 fans.

According to a forum post, Codemasters will be releasing some sort of DirectX 12 patch for its F1 2015 game running on EGO Engine 4.0 at some point. Unfortunately, DirectX 12 will not come with a next patch but the fact that it will give F1 2015 game a performance improvements, as it would use multi-core CPUs much better, is definitely a welcomed news by many F1 racing game fans.

The game could also get some impressive graphics effects like Raster Ordered Views (AVSM and Decal Blending) and Conservative Rasterization (voxel-based ray tracing) which should significantly improve realism in the game.

It also helps that Codemasters made the F1 2015 game-engine ready for next-gen consoles and next-gen API for the PC.

Hopefully, we will hear more about this patch soon.
