Oculus has prepared a couple of Oculus Ready PCs from ASUS, Alienware and Dell with pre-orders opening up on February 16 and these will be discounted as a part of Oculus Rift bundle.
Oculus Rift VR headset should start shipping soon and as you already know, it has some rather high hardware requirements so Oculus has prepared a couple of Oculus Ready PCs which will meet or exceed the earlier announced minimum requirements as well as include the Oculus Rift package, with sensor, remote, Xbox One controller and Eve: Valkyrie and Lucky's Tale games.
To make things even better, Oculus will give up to US $200 discount on the price of the system if you pre-order it.
There are currently a couple of systems on offer, including the Asus G11CD, Alienware X51 R3, and Dell XPS 8900 SE, which will represent the low-end of the offer. All of these systems are pretty much based on on similar hardware running on Intel's Core i5-6400 CPU, an Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card, 8GB of RAM and 1TB HDD and will start at US $1049.
In case you have money to spare, there are two ROG G20CB systems from ASUS, with GTX 980, SSD storage and more as well as Alienware's US $2549 Area 51 system with Core i7-5820K CPU, GTX 980, 16GB of RAM and SSD storage.
The models will be available via Best Buy, Amazon and the Microsoft Store and we are quite sure that there will be similar deals in Europe as well.
