Sapphire has announced its newest addition to the Nitro graphics card lineup, the Radeon R9 Fury Nitro, which promises to be both faster and quieter than any other R9 Fury on the market.
Based on the Fiji Pro GPU with 3584 Stream Processors and 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) with 4096-bit memory interface, the GPU on the Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro is overclocked to 1050MHz.
The new Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro also comes with the new Tri-X cooler, which is, according to Sapphire, the most efficient cooling solution ever created by the company. It is a dual-slot cooler with three fans which cool a hefty heatsink connected to the copper plate via a couple of heatpipes, including a 10mm thick central heatpipe.
With such a cooler, Sapphire is promising that its new R9 Fury Nitro is both faster and quieter than competition, and has two cooler and OC profiles, one set at 260W TDP and target GPU temperature of 75C and other, performance position, with 300W TDP and target GPU temperature of 80C.
According to Sapphire, the new R9 Fury Nitro should be already available all around the world. Unfortunately, Sapphire did not unveil any details regarding the price.
