While most of Nokia might have been sold to Microsoft, it appears that the company is still alive and has couple of ideas for future smartphones, including the device called the C1, which will be available with Windows 10 and Android.
According to
a latest report coming from Mobile Choice UK, Nokia is still working on a couple of smartphones including the C1, which will be available in two versions, with Windows 10 OS and Android OS. Nokia has previously experimented with Android OS and made a prototype of a dual-boot device just before it was acquired by Microsoft.
The Nokia C1 should be a mid-range device with a 5-inch 1080p display, yet to be detailed Intel SoC and 2 GB of RAM. The same report also suggest that it might use a stock version of Android and not a custom skin.
While the C1 could eventually come to the market, Nokia still can't manufacture a smartphone before Q4 2016, which was a part of the deal with Microsoft, although they stil could outsource manufacturing to a different company.
