While most of AMD's Radeon graphics cards have been discounted earlier today, it appears that Nvidia has the same deal for its entire Geforce 900 series graphics cards.
Price cuts appears to be for the entire Geforce 900 series including the Geforce GTX 980 Ti, GTX 980, GTX 970, GTX 960 and the GTX 950. Just as it is the case with AMD price cuts, it is also not clear if these deals are limited to Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday and Cyber Monday, as well as the upcoming Christmas shopping season but nevertheless, the entire Geforce 900 series is now heavily discounted.
Launched at US $649, the Geforce GTX 980 Ti has now dropped down to US $589 and even US $559 after rebate. This is definitely a great deal as it gets you a full flagship graphics card at below US $600. For those running on a tighter below-$500 budget, the GTX 980 is still based on GM200 GPU and offers quite a bang for buck, especially now that it has dropped from the original US $499, down to US $439, $409 after rebate.
Despite having issues with 3.5+0.5GB memory amount, the GTX 970 is still one of the best selling and most popular graphics card and it appears it will stay that way as it has dropped from the original US $329 down to US $289, $259 after rebate.
The mid-range GTX 960 is enough if you are gaming on 1920x1080 resolution and reasonable level of detail but at US $199, it was rather overshadowed by some AMD counterparts, especially now that AMD launched the Radeon R9 380X. Previously priced at US $199, the GTX 960 is now a bit more interesting as it has dropped down to US $179 and US $149 after rebate, making it one impressive mid-range contender.
The GTX 950 was enough if you are playing casual games and with a price of US $159 it was a decent performer. Now that it is dropped down to US $139 and US $129 after rebate, it is a bit more interesting as you can save up to $30 on it.
Spotted by Wccftech.com, these deals are limited to Newegg.com but it is possible that most, if not all retailers/e-tailers, including European ones will have a similar deal, so it would be wise to check out prices at your favorite one before shopping.
