Ubisoft has unveiled both minimum and recommended hardware requirements for the upcoming Rainbow Six: Siege game that is scheduled to launch on December 1st.
While Ubisoft has earlier delayed Rainbox Six: Siege to December 1st on both PC as well as consoles, in order to implement fixes that were noticed during closed beta held earlier in September, the publisher has now announced both minimum and recommended system requirements which are not as high as we expected.
According to Ubisoft, minimum system requirements include Intel Core i3-560 or AMD Phenom II X4 945 CPU, 6GB of RAM, Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD HD 5870 graphics card with 1GB of VRAM and a 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 OS as well as at least 30GB of HDD space. The recommended system requirements are a bit higher but still include a reasonable Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120 CPU, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia GTX 670 or AMD HD 7970 with 2GB of VRAM and 47GB of HDD space.
Ubisoft has also released a list of supported graphics card at launch which include Nvidia GeForce GTX 460, GTX 560, GTX 650, GTX 750 or any card from the GTX 900 and Titan Series as well as AMD Radeon HD 5870, HD 6870, HD 7770, R7 260X or any card from the Radeon 300 series and Fury lineup.
As noted, Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Siege is scheduled to launch on December 1st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
