ID-Cooling has announced its newest Hunter VC-Twin CPU cooler that will be based on a D-type dual fin-stack design with two fans and five 8mm-thick copper heatpipes.
Spotted by Techpowerup.com, the new ID-Cooling Hunter VC-Twin CPU cooler is based on a D-type design with a pair of thermal-grade anti-oxidation coated aluminum heatsink. The heat is transferred to heatsinks from a vapor-chamber plate via five 8mm-thick copper heatpipes.
The heatsinks are cooled by a 120mm intake and 140mm conveyor fan sandwiched between the two heatsinks. The 120mm fan spins between 800 and 1,800RPM, pushes up to 60.7 CFM of air and produces between 16.2 and 29.2 dBA of noise. The 140mm fan spins between 800 and 1,600RPM, pushes up to 76.8 CFM of air and produces between 16.8 and 32.6 dBA of noise. Both fans have 4-pin PWM support.
The entire Hunter VC-Twin CPU cooler measures at 123x153x160mm, weighs 1,418g and can deal with CPUs with up to 200W TDP. It supports most if not all modern Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA2011v3, LGA115x, AM3+, and FM2+.
Unfortunately, ID-Cooling did not unveil any details regarding the price or the availability date.
