To run until October 12th
While we already knew that it will start sometime in October, DICE has now announced that the Star Wars: Battlefront open beta will run from October 8th to October 12th and be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
The beta will include three modes, Walker Assault on Hoth, Drop Zone on Sullust and Survival Mission on Tatooine modes.
The open beta phase will allow EA and DICE to test various aspects of the game as well as the online infrastructure. Users will be able to pre-load the beta on Origin for PC on October 7th.
The beta will have a level 5 cap while the stats and progression will not carry over to the final game. The Companion app will be available only via browser and support all the latest browser versions.
As it was announced earlier, the full Star Wars: Battlefront game will launch on November 17th in the US and November 20th in Europe.
