EVGA announces GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+

Newest EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti

EVGA has introduced yet another Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics card, the EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+.

To be the fastest EVGA GTX 980 Ti, next to earlier released K|NGP|N and Classified versions, the new EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ can be considered the best GTX 980 Ti from EVGA in case you are not looking for that additional overclocking features that Classified and K|NGP|N GTX 980 Ti offer.

Based on a completely custom PCB with 8+2-phase design, the new EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ also comes with Dual BIOS and features an EVGA backplate.

Based on a well known Nvidia GM204 Maxwell GPU with 2816 CUDA cores and packing 6GB of GDDR5 memory, EVGA has factory-overclocked the new GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ to a GPU base clock of 1190MHz and 1291MHz GPU Boost clock. Despite these high factory-overclock settings, EVGA also claims that there is even room for an additional overclocking. The 6GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 384-bit memory interface, was left at reference 7010MHz.

EVGA also equipped the new GTX 980 Ti FTW with a well known EVGA ACX 2.0+ cooler, which includes a memory MOSFET Cooling Plate (MMCP), which should reduce MOSFET temperature to up 13 percent, Straight Heat Pipes (SHP), which should reduce the GPU temperature by 5 degrees and double ball bearing fans with optimized swept fan blades. The cooler also features a dB Noise Inverter feature which turns the fans off below 60C temperature.

The new EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ is currently available at EVGA's own site with a price set at US $689.99.
