While Windows 10 OS is already running on plenty of systems and has received a couple of security and minor patches, the big major patch will be coming next month.
Although it was originally scheduled to be released in October, to a minor delay, the new major Windows 10 OS update, known as Threshold 2 or Wave 2, will arrive in November. The new update will bring a couple of smaller changes including the new Messaging app that will be integrated with Skype and support for extensions on the Microsoft Edge browser.
Microsoft is also preparing a bigger "Redstone" update that will be released in 2016.
