Microsoft releases Cortana to Android OS

In a beta state

As promised earlier, Microsoft has now released a beta version of Cortana for Android OS.

While only available in the United States, Cortana is now available on Google Android OS in its beta form. Unfortunately, Cortana on Android does not offer full features that are available on Windows OS. It lacks certain apps and it does not support the "Hey Cortana" function.

As noted, the beta version of Cortana for Android is available only in the United States and Microsoft is still to detail the international availability.

Currently, the beta program for Cortana is full but as always you can sign up and maybe you can get it eventually.

Microsoft is still working on an iOS version of Cortana but it might prove hard for Microsoft as Apple won't allow it to replace Siri.
