OCZ is apparently putting final touches on its new RevoDrive 400 NVMe PCIe SSD as it has been spotted at the IDF 2015 show.

According to a report from Legitreviews.com, the OCZ RevoDrive 400 PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 device will be based on yet to be detailed Toshiba controller and Toshiba NAND memory and will be available in capacities of up to 1TB. The RevoDrive 400 will be available with or without the PCIe adapter which should ensure wider support.

During IDF 2015, OCZ showcased a prototype drive and is still tweaking firmware so the company did not want to talk about specific performance details. According to the report, sequential read and write speeds should be well over 2000MB/s while 4K random read and write performance will be over 200,000 IOPS, which is pretty much in line with similar products.

According to OCZ, the new RevoDrive 400 should be coming to the market later this year.
