EVGA has announced its newest version of the EVGA X99 Micro motherboard, the EVGA X99 Micro2.
Packing all the great features from the original X99 Micro motherboard, the new EVGA X99 Micro2 will be upgraded with USB 3.1 Type-C port, increased number of SATA ports, improved layout design, BIOS and refreshed looks, according to EVGA.
In addition to the well known all-black design that got a slight update, EVGA has also added the new USB 3.1 Type-C port. Still featuring the same 6-phase VRM, the new EVGA X99 Micro2 motherboard packs a total of 10 SATA ports, three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 port and M.2 32Gbps port, all packed on a motherboard with microATX form-factor.
The EVGA X99 Micro2 also has plenty of overclocking friendly features including on-board Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, on-board CPU temperature monitor as well as the new GUI BIOS, which is focused on overclocking support, functionality and usability.
According to what we can see, the new EVGA X99 Micro2 motherboard is already available at EVGA's own webshop with a price set at US $229.99.
