Following Microsoft's official launch of the new Windows 10 OS, AMD has released the new Catalyst 15.7.1 WHQL drivers with full support for the aforementioned OS and some other minor improvements and bug fixes.
Although AMD already had a working WHQL-certified Catalyst 15.7 drivers that had support for Windows 10 OS, the new Catalyst 15.7.1 WHQL drivers bring full support for WDDM 2.0 and DirectX 12 for all Radeon graphics cards based on GPUs with Graphics Core Next architecture, which includes all graphics cards since Radeon HD 7000 days as well as a couple of recently released APUs.
In addition to support for Windows 10 OS, the new Catalyst 15.7.1 WHQL drivers also bring support for Virtual Super Resolution (VSR), Frame Rate Target Control (FRTC) and AMD FreeSync and CrossFire on those GPUs that support it as well as include some minor performance improvements for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and resolves some known issues.
