Nvidia has released new Geforce 353.62 WHQL drivers for those running Geforce graphics cards on the new Microsoft Windows 10 OS.
Although Nvidia already had working Windows 10 OS drivers, the new drivers bring full support for WDDM 2.0 and DirectX 12 on Nvidia graphics cards based on Kepler and Maxwell GPUs.
According to the release notes, Nvidia will also bring DirectX 12 support for graphics cards based on older Fermi GPUs, including Geforce GTX 400 and GTX 500 series graphics cards, sometime later this year.
In addition to the support for Windows 10 OS, the new Geforce 353.62 WHQL drivers also add a couple of new and updated SLI profiles, including ones for Batman: Arkham Knight, Killing Floor 2, Total War: Arena, Metro: Last Light and more.
Nvidia calls the new Geforce 353.62 WHQL drivers a Game Ready drivers for Windows 10 as this one supports all the recent games, including The Witcher 3, Battlefield Hardline, GTA V, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and more as well as Nvidia effects, features and technologies like HairWorks, SLI, Dynamic Super Resolution, PCSS shadows, Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing, TXAA Anti-Aliasing, GameStream and others.
