According to a newest report, Intel's upcoming Skylake-S desktop CPUs, the Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K, could be facing supply issues as some retailers simply did not get enough stock.

The report coming from Sweclockers.com site and citing Anton Nilsson, manager of Webhallen, a quite popular Swedish retailer, suggest that both new Skylake-S CPUs will be facing limited availability at launch, something that certainly raises a lot of questions.

The limited availability might be only limited to certain regions as we have not been hearing about any big problems regarding Skylake architecture and Intel should have plenty of CPUs to go around. The upcoming Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K will certainly be quite popular among enthusiasts, overclockers as well as consumers so this might be a big issue if it turns out to be true.

In any case, we will know for sure once Intel officially launches its first Skylake-S desktop processors on 5th of August and hopefully we will see plenty of stock in the rest of the Europe.
