Mushkin has unveiled its latest DDR3-1600 memory module that will be a part of its ECO2 memory series, the Mushkin DDR3L-1600 ECO2.
To be available in 4GB and 8GB capacities, the new Mushkin DDR3L-1600 ECO2 modules will be available in single-module, dual-channel and quad-channel kits. As you could have guessed from the name, the new module works at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-24 latencies and 1.35V voltage.
The new ECO2 DDR3L-1600 memory module comes with recognizable sleek, low-profile heatsink. As you can remember, upcoming Intel Skylake CPUs will support both DDR4 and DDR3 memory, which should push some users to go for a cheaper solution and Mushkin ECO2 line might be a good way to go.
Unfortunately, Mushkin did not announce any details regarding the price or the availability date but we are sure these will show up on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
